XDimensional Technologies®, Inc. today announced the culmination of a joint development effort with the LexisNexis® Insurance Exchange (the "Insurance Exchange") to create seamless integration between XDimensional's Nexsure® Internet insurance agency management solution and the Insurance Exchange's commercial insurance submission platform. The integration utilizes ACORD XML data standards and web services to allow the instant upload of insured data from Nexsure to the Insurance Exchange.
Clyde Owen, General Manager, LexisNexis Insurance Exchange states, "The Insurance Exchange is specifically intended to integrate with various insurance solutions and bring brokers and carriers together by connecting their disparate systems and tools. The Insurance Exchange and XDimensional teams were able to quickly integrate these applications so users can now leverage existing data from the Nexsure system in the Insurance Exchange's streamlined placement process. This data can now be easily managed, matched against carrier appetites and other information, shared and worked on with underwriters to effectively secure coverage."
"We implemented the LexisNexis Insurance Exchange to compliment our use of Nexsure by providing us with a secure, centralized, and efficient placement and collaboration capability in a platform that gives us access to carrier appetites and lets us better understand our marketplace," said Karen E. Bitzer, Chief Information Officer, Roach Howard Smith & Barton in Dallas. "With this integration, we can share data between Nexsure and the Insurance Exchange and leverage what each system does best with no duplicate entry for our users."
Bob Juracka, President of XDimensional Technologies states, "Technological and efficiency-improvement innovation is what Nexsure is all about. We are proud to support new ways of doing business and the operational improvements that they represent for our users. This integration with the Insurance Exchange highlights that philosophy. The ease with which the integration was achieved is a great showcase of Nexsure's modern technical design."
